NORTON – June is sheer hot at our label at Tuku Music.

Today we unleash at one-go three albums – two by Tuku and one posthumously by Sam Mtukudzi.

Hitting record shops right away is Tuku’s double release of Rudaviro and Kutsi Kwemoyo (Compilation 2005-2010).

Kutsi Kwemoyo and Rudaviro mark the publication of Tuku’s whopping 58th and 59th albums respectively in a period spanning well over 30 years of recording music. Tuku’s debut album Ndipeiwo Zano was released in 1978.

The releases provide quite a handsome bumper collection for all the buffs of Tuku Music who have been waiting for new music from Tuku since Dairai in 2008.

Also out today is Cheziya now published posthumously following the death of Sam Mtukudzi in a car accident in March. (see story Sam’s posthumous CD out).
