It has always been our long term plan to model our complex into an academy where artists have space to work but also lodges to house those whose programmes required overnight lodging.

It has not been easy with scanty resources in an environment where one lives from hand to mouth. But brick by brick the chalets went up albeit over quite a period of time. Nevertheless here we are!

A good number of the rooms are nearly ready for occupation. The fittings and furniture are in order and the rooms are all en-suite, self contained bathrooms and all. We await a few official obligations and BINGO we are open anytime now.

When all chalets are finally completed we will have 30 ordinary rooms and three executive suites catering for business guests and those purely on holiday and artists of course.

The lawns are manicured, the flower gardens are in bloom and pretty much exotic for our guests to relax. – tukumusik.com
