HARARE – Tuku returns to the Mannenberg at Fife Avenue Shops in Harare tomorrow (Thursday 5 May) with his rare up-close and personal solo experience.

He will have a set with drummer Sam Mataure fusing ngoma and the acoustic guitar.

Tuku nowadays offers strictly solo performances to cater for those of his fans who do not really favour the more hectic public shows. But he also presents his shows as a duet with his percussionist or more commonly goes all out, full blast, with his full band.

The Mannenberg appearance brings one of Africa’s music icons directly into the lives and hearts of the audience which will be intimately gathered around him, catching every nuance in the song, every move, a wink of the eye and all the guitar action.
