I salute all my fans who packed Newtown for the Standard Bank Joy of Jazz Festival in support of Tuku Music.

Seeing so many of my South African fans singing along and even crying out for more could only naturally make me proud but entirely humbled that my music could touch so many of you and light up the Joburg night.

^ The power of Tuku Music at Joy of Jazz.

That you could come in such large numbers to watch my set, as the festival’s main act for the closing night, could not have been mere music fans in search of another Saturday night gig. To me that show of support totally transcends everything…it means love. I salute you for that.
